When we seek counseling, we have gotten to the point that we want some help. We want something to gain: relief, hope, support, guidance, renewed confidence, a plan, some peace. All appointments are online, using a secure platform. In my experience, online appointments are just as helpful as in person. It also allows for increased privacy because we can meet and you can be from any part of PA.
Alisia has been providing counseling for nearly 20 years, 14 of those years in private practice. She chose the name Reason and Breath, LLC because there is a story of our higher selves monitored by our ability to reason and be connected to our breath. We may be focusing on how you think, skills, or simply getting your story out. In practice, we start with what is happening with you.
Some relief and answers for clients come easily, and some require time and practice. It is important you share openly. I listen to you, your narrative and answers to my questions. We will talk together about what you want, and discuss options. Most of the work you do is outside of our meetings. Whether it is raising your awareness, or practicing a skill. Worthwhile work!
